How You Can Help  

OUT MetroWest - NeXusNexus is a first-in-the-Commonwealth program for LGBTQ and allied middle school youth. Open to all youth in grades 6-8, Nexus provides a safe space to explore questions relating to sexual orientation and gender identity. Meetings include a light dinner along with check-ins, group discussions, and diverse activities. NeXus

    Two weeks ’til Youth Pride

    Boston’s Youth Pride celebration is just two weeks from tomorrow, on Saturday, May 20. If you’re interested in marching with OUT MetroWest, contact Courtney to reserve your free t-shirt. We’ll be traveling to and from City Hall Plaza via the Riverside train station in Newton. If you’d like to travel with us, Courtney can provide details!

    GSA Summit Application is Live

    Applications are being accepted for the 2017 Massachusetts GSA Student Leadership Summit, which will take place August 12-14 at UMass Amherst. Students who will be in grades 9-12 during the 2017/18 school year are eligible to apply.     Walnut Hill School for the Arts Returns to Nexus

    On January 11, members of the Walnut Hill School for the Arts GSA facilitated activities at our Framingham Nexus meeting. Participants particularly enjoyed an arts game that combined creative writing and drawing to yield unpredictable results. This is the second time Walnut Hill students have led a Nexus meeting, and we are grateful for their contributions to the program!
