Thinking about attending a meeting?

Curious about attending a meeting but don’t know where to start? You have options!

If you’re in middle school, you are welcome at Nexus meetings and drop-in hours. These meetings are open to all queer, questioning, and allied youth. (If *you* think you belong, you do!) You can come whenever you’re free or you can come to every meeting – the choice is up to you!

If you’re in high school, you are welcome at WAGLY meetings and drop-in hours. These meetings are open to all queer, questioning, and allied youth. (If *you* think you belong, you do!) You can come whenever you’re free or you can come to every meeting – the choice is up to you!

If you’re trans or gender non-conforming and in high school, you are welcome at Umbrella meetings, in addition to WAGLY and drop-in hours. Many youth who attend Umbrella also attend WAGLY and/or drop-in hours (and some trans high schoolers don’t attend Umbrella at all). You can come whenever you’re free or you can come to every meeting – the choice is up to you!

We hear from many participants that they were nervous before their first meeting. If you have questions before attending, you are welcome to email, Facebook message, or call us. You can also see answers to frequently asked questions here. One thing youth often wonder is whether they’ll meet anyone like them at our meetings. While you’re all unique, we find that youth usually do find peers whose identities overlap with their own! Whether you identify as asexual, femme, genderqueer, gay, pansexual, or something equally wonderful, we’re confident you’ll find friends at our meetings!

We hope to see you at an upcoming meeting!

P.S. Like our meeting graphic above? It was designed by our awesome office helper, Hannah! Check out more of her art here.
