We are thrilled to share that our fourth annual Come Out & Celebrate gala will honor Dr. Asa Sevelius, principal of the Heath School in Brookline. Dr. Sevelius is the first out transgender principal in Massachusetts and amongst the very few out trans school leaders nationwide. In June of this year, Dr. Sevelius generously shared his story with WBUR and The Boston Globe, and we look forward to his inspiring words at the gala.
Come Out & Celebrate will be held on Saturday, September 23 at the Hilton Dedham. The event will feature cocktails, dinner, and dancing. Guests will hear from youth and parent speakers, as well as the chair of our honorary committee, Rep. Jack Patrick Lewis. The event supports OUT MetroWest’s programs for LGBTQ youth.
