It’s an OUT MetroWest tradition to host special gatherings on the fourth Monday evenings of June, July, and August. In addition to high school participants, these events are open to parents/caregivers and WAGLY and Umbrella alums. From 6:30 to 7, we provide dinner, and then parents and caregivers can attend an optional PFLAG meeting on-site while youth participate in planned social activities.
Our 2019 events are going to be extra-special, thanks to a generous donation from The Cook Family. They are sponsoring this series to honor the impact that our programs had on their child and family.
Monday, June 24 is our first gathering of 2019! The location will be 309 Washington Street, Wellesley Hills. We’ll have a food truck from Pangea Cuisines with cookout fare, including both veggie and gluten-free options. Parents and caregivers can enjoy some special summer beverages before the PFLAG meeting, and it’s always a bonus to have alums on-hand for the youth portion of the evening.
Our July and August events promise to be equally fun. We’ll announce details on our Facebook page, so stay tuned!
