PONYBOI is a neo-noir thriller written by River Gallo and directed by Esteban Arango. Set in New Jersey on Valentine's Day, we follow a young intersex sex worker who launders clothes by day and survives by night. Their best friend is their pregnant coworker Angel — and her baby’s father is also their secret lover and pimp. When a drug deal goes wrong, they find themself on the run from the mob — and toward freedom. Raw, tender, and genre-bending, PONYBOI is a story of survival, identity, and chosen family.
