Dear OUT MetroWest Community,
I know there is a lot happening in our country right now and many things feel uncertain. I want to assure you that OUT MetroWest is something you CAN be certain of. OUT MetroWest will continue to be here, each week, providing programming for LGBTQ+ youth, and hosting community events to gather in queer joy. In recent weeks, the team has been in conversation with Congresswoman Katherine Clark, State Representative Jack Patrick Lewis, Senator Elizabeth Warren’s office, local nonprofit leaders, and LGBTQ+ leaders across the state. We know that together we will continue to secure the future for queer and trans youth here in MetroWest.
Looking forward, we are starting a new Strategic Planning process this month that will assess where we are, where we’re headed, and how we’ll get there. We have been accepted as a pro bono client with SOAR Management Consulting Group, who helps nonprofits thrive. They will guide us through our youth-centered planning process during which we will connect with stakeholders from across the community. We hope you’ll join us in envisioning the future of LGBTQ+ programming in MetroWest!
As we move out of the coldest and darkest season of the year, we have exciting events planned for late winter and spring – and opportunities already teed up for summer!  Join us for our Drag Brunch Birthday Party! OUT MetroWest is marking 14 years of building communities where LGBTQ+ youth thrive – and you’re invited to celebrate with us! LGBTQ+ youth and their families are invited to join us on Sunday, March 30th from 12-2pm at 160 Hollis Street in Framingham for a drag performance, brunch, and Birthday Party festivities. Join us for a night of facts, friends, and FUNdraising at our popular Trivia Night on Friday, May 9th from 6 – 8:30pm at Framingham High School! Come Nerd OUT with OUT MetroWest, friends, family, and community members. New Program Alert: Sky! Launching VIRTUALLY in March 2025
 | Sky is OUT MetroWest’s newest program, running the first Thursday of the month starting in March, from 7-8:30pm. This will be a virtual program, that youth can access from anywhere they have Wi-Fi! Sky was developed to help meet the needs of youth who otherwise cannot get to our Framingham or Satellite locations.
