Our seventh annual Come OUT & Celebrate gala was a festive evening full of touching tributes, powerful messages, and youth voice. We heard directly from the young people, families, and local residents who are part of our community, and their stories were truly inspiring.
The virtual event opened with The Kinsey Scales’ a cappella version of “I’m Coming Out,” and we even had a special celebrity visit from Jazz Jennings, author and star of the TLC series, I am Jazz! DJ Mocha finished the evening with a 30-minute living room dance party. Seeing people of all ages and backgrounds dancing in their homes—apart but together—was some much-needed 2020 magic!
We’ve heard from many attendees that the evening filled them with hope and happiness, so we’re including a recording of the event in case you’d like to watch or share it with a friend.
Thanks to the community’s support, Come OUT & Celebrate raised over $100,000 that will enable LGBTQ+ youth to connect with each other, adult role models, and local resources.
