Thanks to all who joined us on Monday, October 23rd for an AMAZING Gay-la!
We had a packed house — over 200 guests, including LGBTQ+ youth, family, supporters, and community partners who gathered together to celebrate the thousands of life-changing–and often life-saving–moments that happen all year long at OUT MetroWest. Youth, alums, and program staff shared about the impact of those moments on their lives. One of our youth Peer Leaders said:
“I am so lucky to say that plenty of spaces in my life are safe for LGBTQ+ youth, but none of those places compare to OUT MetroWest and its community.” – Maggie, she/they, 17 years old
We also heard from Lindsey, an OUT MetroWest Alum and current Board Member, who spoke about meaningful moments with adult facilitators when she was a youth in OUT MetroWest programs, saying:
“I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for OUT MetroWest.”
We raised more than ever to support LGBTQ+ youth in MetroWest, and build communities where LGBTQ+ youth thrive. Couldn’t join us, but still want to help build life-changing community for LGBTQ+ youth? Help us fund more of these life-saving moments today!
