On June 26, the Supreme Court passed legislation allowing all same-sex couples in the U.S. to marry legally. This will stand as a landmark in the lives of American lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning persons of all ages.
Though Sunday was a defining day for the LGBTQ community, there is still much work to be done, especially for young people who are trying to find a place in their world where they feel safe and respected.
